After studying Drama at the University of Bristol I landed my first directing job making a series of shorts for Channel 4 about virtual worlds. I’ve gone on to direct and produce a wide range of award winning films for broadcasters including HBO, National Geographic, BBC, Disney and PBS.

Most recently I series directed A World of Calm, working with Idris Elba on a film about the scale of the universe and Lucy Liu on a film about coral. Prior to that I had the incredible pleasure of making Emmy nominated The World According to Jeff Goldblum, scripting and directing the opening episode and working in the edit to help shape the series style.

Other credits include One Strange Rock, which I helped develop before going on to direct two episodes , Emmy Nominated The Planets: SaturnEmmy nominated How We Got to Now: Clean, RTS and Grierson winning Oak Tree: Natures Greatest Survivor, Grierson Shortlisted The Secret Life of Chaos Grierson Nominated Everything and Nothing, Grierson Nominated Order and Disorder, BAFTA nominated Mechanical Marvels: Clockwork Dreams, and The Brain with Dr. David Eagleman

I am currently working on a large format live project about the origins and future of life in the universe.

I live in North London with my partner Sophie and daughters Margot and Grace.
